Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous solvent secondary battery that is improved in a discharge voltage, is excellent in a large-current charge-discharge characteristic and is improved in safety in an abnormal time.
SOLUTION: This nonaqueous solvent secondary battery is characterized by comprising a negative electrode capable of storing and releasing lithium ions, and a positive electrode containing, as a positive electrode active material, a lithium-nickel-based composite oxide satisfying the following inequalities (1) and (2). (1): 0.75≤FWHM(003)/FWHM(104)≤0.9; (2): 0.25≤I(104)/I(003)≤0.9.
