PURPOSE: To provide the manufacturing method of an operating panel, which can be manufactured by a customer, himself or herself by utilizing thermal printing without printing with block copy and has only the short period for manufacturing at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A vapor deposition layer 13 of tin is contained in a multilayered sheet 1 as the material of an operating panel. The vapor deposition layer is broken by the current conduction and the heating of a thermal head 5, and the color of a colored layer 15 beneach the vapor deposition layer is exposed. Thus, the required color printing is performed.
