Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance visual effect and effects of tactual sense when a patterned member which gives a different qualitative appearance from a base material is obtained.
CONSTITUTION: Many muscle-like recessed and projecting surfaces 11, 21 are formed on the surface of a metal base material, and the recessed and projecting surfaces 11, 21 are matted. After degreasing/cleaning process, the base material 1 is pretreated using etching and smut removal processes. In addition, the base material l is treated using an anode oxidation process and is finished as a patterned member by transferring a thin film with a printed pattern such as grained or rifted to the recessed and projecting surfaces 11, 21 of the base material 1 under water pressure.
