PURPOSE: To form a powder compacting tube without using a pressure vessel and to easily obtain a long length tube by extruding the powder for compacting packing between a core metal, which is made so as to easily draw out from the compacting body, and an outer skin through a die.
CONSTITUTION: The core metal 1 coating the outer peripheral face with sheet 11 and winding yarn 12 on the outer peripheral face of the sheet 11 is prepared. This core metal 1 is arranged along the axial center of the outer skin 4 composing of the cylindrical tube. Successively, the powder 3 for compacting is packed at gap between the outer skin 4 and the above core metal 1. Further, the above outer skin 4 and the core metal 1 are extended through the die 7 to compact the above powder 3. Successively, after drawing out the above core metal 1 from the compacting body, the yarn 12 and sheet 11 remained in the inner face of the compacting body are removed.
