PURPOSE: To improve the impregnation, facilitate the defoaming at the time of molding a laminated board and thus improve the moldability thereof by partially or wholly employing monofilaments as fiber fabric wherein the cross- sectional configuration and thickness are changed continuously or discontinuously in the fiber direction at the time of impregnating and then drying thermosetting resin varnish into the fiber fabric.
CONSTITUTION: During applying and impregnating of resin varnish into fiber fabric, monofilaments constituting fabric are used partially or wholly in which the cross-sectional configuration and thickness are changed continuously or discontinuously. Herein, the cross-sectional configuration of the monofilaments is a usually rounded type and the thickness is changed continuously, or roughly a rounded type, and the thickness is changed into an elliptic shape at places, or roughly a rounded type, and the thickness is given discontinuous recessions and protrusions at places, and when the cross-sectional configuration or thickness are changed in the fiber direction, a space (b) defined by four (or three and so on) monofilaments is allowed to be easily filled with resin varnish from the cross-sectional direction.
