Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an air-gap portion core from rusting by making a plating thickness 2∼3μm through treating stator and rotor core surfaces by electroless Ni-P plating.
CONSTITUTION: An electrical magnetic steel tape having a chromate insulating film 8 on its surface is cut out by press working to form stator core sheets 6 and rotor core sheets 7 which are laminated to constitute stator and rotor cores, respectively. Then, stator and rotor core surfaces are treated by electroless Ni(90%)-P(10%) plating to form a 2∼3μm deposit 9. In this manner, an airgap portion core can be prevented from rusting.
