PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture various test pieces by marking a test piece number to a test piece cut from a sample material, and thereafter, working it, cutting the test piece having a joint part of minute width connected to said sample material, and separating said joint part by an electric conduction.
CONSTITUTION: Before cutting various test pieces, for instance, A and B from a sample material 1, test piece numbers (a), (b) of various test pieces A, B are marked, respectively. At the time of cutting and forming the test pieces A, B by blanking of said sample material 1, they are formed in a state connected to the sample material 1 through 1a and 1b of very small width at least in two parts opposed to each other in its outside periphery. At the time of taking out the test piece, the test pieces A, B are separated by melting said joint parts 1a, 1b by Joule heat by an electric conduction to between the sample material 1 and the test pieces A, B. In such a way, the test pieces A, B on which the test piece numbers (a), (b) are marked can be manufactured efficiently.
