PURPOSE: To stabilize a fabrication method and improve a fabrication speed by making fellow shielding tapes pass through, between a fixed die containing a heater and a movable die containing a heater and having an ultrasonic vibrator, to be sticked fast.
CONSTITUTION: Previously a movable die 13 and a fixed die 14 are heated with a heater 16 to be adjusted at 180±3°C with a temperature controller 15, and a thermocouple 17 is inserted in both the upper and lower dies. In this case, a vibration, having a frequency of 20kHz and a vertical amplitude of 30μm, is given to the die 13 with an ultrasonic transmitter 12. By making a shielding wire 11 before sheath-coating pass through between the dies 13 and 14 in this condition, paste applied to shielding tapes 4 is melted, causing the fellow shielding tapes to be pushed with the die to be sticked. The nonuse of a heat source like an air heat gun causes the sharp stabilization of a fabrication method, the increase of contact parts pressing the tapes, and the improvement of a fabrication speed, allowing the stable and efficient manufacture of shielding wires.
