Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the economical efficiency by replacing a specified amount or below of a carbon material such as coal with ipil-ipil charcoal or the like and carrying out sintering.
CONSTITUTION: Starting material such as ore is mixed with a carbon material such as coke, and sintered. At this time, ≤20wt% of this carbon material is replaced with charcoal manufactured from inexpensive ipil-ipil or with dry-distilled ipil-ipil obtd. by further dry-distilling the charcoal. By this replacement the cost of the carbon material is reduced, and the sintering time is shortened.
