PURPOSE: To obtain a steel cord material with rubber which has favorable topping accuracy and is superior in low-temperature and high-speed processing properties, by a method wherein a plurality of wires with rubber are formed by sticking the rubber to the surface of wires each by passing the wires through an extruding machine and then the wires are made into a sheetlike body having a desired width by passing them through a calender roll.
CONSTITUTION: Several units of extruding machines 140 where, for example, hundreds of wires 1 are rubberized with one unit of the same are arranged in a row, through respective of which the wires 1 are passed, operated synchronously and wires 111 with rubber are formed. Then the wires 111 are fed to a topping calender roll device 130 and a steel cord material 100 with the rubber are formed. In other words, a plurality of pieces of the wires 1 are passed respectively through a buffle 142 and die plate 143 of a single head 141 and the wire with the rubber in a sheetlike state or a beltlike state or a tape having a desired width is formed.
