PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration in the operating precision of a temperature fuse by pressing and forming a caulking head section on the tip section of a lead terminal inserted into the bottom of a case, storing a thermo-sensitive pellet and a lower spring guide in the case, and pressing the thermo-sensitive pellet with a stem to closely stick it to the inside of the case.

CONSTITUTION: The tip section 10 of a lead terminal 4 is inserted into the bottom of a case 1, the case 1 is fixed to a receiving bed 14, and a caulking head section 16 is pressed and formed on the tip section 13 of the lead terminal 4 by a pressing mold 15. A thermo-sensitive pellet 2 and a lower spring guide 9 are stored in the case 1 fixed to the receiving bed 14 and pressed to the upper face of the thermo-sensitive pellet 2 by a stem 17 via a lower spring guide 9, and the thermo-sensitive pellet 2 is closely stuck to the inside of the case 1. No gap is generated between the lead terminal 4 and the case 1, and no adverse effect is applied to the thermo-sensitive pellet 2 by moisture. The sealing performance is thereby improved, and the operating precision of a temperature fuse can be increased.
