Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a very finely powdered alloy consisting of separate particles having a uniform alloy composition and a uniform particle size by atomizing a molten alloy to obtain the finely powdered alloy of a prescribed mesh or below and by very finely powdering the finely powdered alloy by plasma heating.
CONSTITUTION: Components for the alloy are blended in a prescribed ratio and melted byheating. The resulting molten alloy is finely powdered by atomization and classified to obtain a finely powdered alloy of ≤350 mesh particle size. This finely powdered alloy is very finely powdered by plasma heating.
