PURPOSE: To allow resin to spread sufficiently and obtain good deposition by forming grooves in the peripheral direction and at right angles to the peripheral direction on the contact surface of a heating roller as fusing means, with the deposition part.
CONSTITUTION: The groove 7 in the peripheral direction and a number of grooves 8 which are at right angles to the peripheral direction are formed on the contact surface of a heating roller 6 with deposition part 5. When the battery plate covered with a mat body 4 passes through the gap of a pair of heating rollers 6, a synthetic resin frame body 2 and the mat body 4 made of organic or inorganic fabric or nonwoven fabric are heating-deposited. As, on the contact surface of the heating roller 6 with the deposition part 5, grooves 7 and 8 are formed crosswise, molten resin spreads easily along the grooves and gathers in large amount at the center part of the deposition part 5 and is solidified in integrally bonded state on the mat body 4, so the scattering of deposition strength is eliminated, and deposition strength can be improved.
