Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a polybutylene terephthalate oligomer which reduces a foreign substance and an unreacted material while raising an esterification reaction rate and controlling a side reaction.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is a continuously manufacturing apparatus for the polybutylene terephthalate oligomer by reacting a dicarboxylic acid comprising terephthalic acid as a principal component and a diol comprising 1,4-butanediol as a principal component which comprises (1) having a heat exchanger inside a reactor, (2) in at least one of horizontal sections in the reactor, installing the heat exchanger in the vicinity of a peripheral area, and having a space without the heat exchanger in the vicinity of a central part, and (3) installing a funnel shape wall becoming smaller in diameter from an upper part toward a lower part in an upper part of the space of the above (2).
