CONSTITUTION: A correcting jig 2 of roller type for correcting the deformation generated at the time of extrusion of a honeycomb molded body 1 is formed and brought into contact with an outer periphery of the honeycomb molded body 1 extruded out of a cap of a molding device and moved on a moving honeycomb molded body carrier 3. The deformation of the outer periphery generated at the time of extrusion of the honeycomb molded body is corrected by the arrangement, and a honeycomb catalyst of superior dimension accuracy after drying and burning can be manufactured.
