Title:
MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF THIN METAL WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176833
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and continuously form the high quality of a thin metal wire by electrically insulating a copper disk, a metal stock and its continuous feeding means.
SOLUTION: First, the copper disk 1 is constantly rotated at a prescribed rotating speed. In order to feed a bar shaped metal stock guided with a tubular guiding member 2 toward the copper disk 1, the tip of the bar shaped metal stock M is heated and molten with a high frequency heating coil 3 while the bar shaped metal stock M is gradually lifted with a lifter 4 via a bar shaped metal stock M supplied to a supplying section 13. Next, the tip of molten metal stock M is brought into contact with the sharp edge forming periphery of the rotating copper disk 1 to form the thin metal wire. A heat resistant material, which is an electrical insulating material without the influence from high frequency waves and does not react with the metal stock M, is used for the tubular guiding member 2 and the head 4a of the lifter 4. Therefore, any arc discharge between the both part is not generated.
