To provide a manufacturing method of an alkanolamine compound of a metal from a relatively inexpensive and safe metal oxide without requiring a complicated process or a special apparatus.
The manufacturing method of the alkanolamine compound of the metal comprises reacting the metal oxide having a composition of MxOy (wherein M is a z-valent metal element selected from among Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Sc, Ti, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Fe, Ru, Co, Ni, Cu, Ag, Zn, Cd, Hg, Al, Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Sn, Pb, Sb and Bi; x is an integer of 1-3; y is an integer represented by the formula: (z)×(x)/2) with an alkanolamine represented by general formula: NRnR'3-n (wherein R is a hydrocarbon group having 1-4 carbon atoms and substituted with at least one hydroxy group; R' is a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 1-3).
