To provide a manufacturing method of a baked product of a plasma display panel capable of preventing occurrence of baking irregularity and generation of bubbles even when a baking gas large in specific gravity is produced.
This method is used for manufacturing a baked product of a plasma display panel from a material containing a cellulosic resin and an acrylic resin, wherein an intake part and an exhaust part are formed in a baking furnace used for manufacturing the baked product. The method includes: (1) a process of baking a material supplied onto a substrate; (2) a process of irradiating an upper region of the material with light from a light source; (3) a process of detecting the light used for the irradiation by a light reception unit arranged oppositely to the light source; and (4) a process of controlling at least either of supply of a gas supplied from the intake part and exhaust of a gas in the baking furnace from the exhaust part in response to intensity of the detected light.
