To provide a manufacturing method of a battery electrode turning a boundary of a painted part and a not-painted part into an ideal state, preventing internal short circuit in a state of being assembled into a battery.
The manufacturing method of the battery electrode comprises a process of transferring a current collector 1 from downside to upside along a surface of a backup roll 2, and further transferring it by drawing it out in a horizontal direction, and applying painting liquid 10 of an electrode material on the surface of the current collector by intermittently spraying the painting liquid from a painting nozzle 3 toward the surface of the current collector in a horizontal direction; a process of jetting cutoff air toward a painting gap 6 between the painting nozzle 3 and the backup roll 2 from an air nozzle from downside to upside synchronizing with the painting of the painting material 10 of electrode material, and sucking the cutoff air jetted from the air nozzle 4 toward the painting gap 6 by a suction nozzle 5 arranged upside the painting gap 6; and a process of intermittently painting the painting liquid 10 of the electrode material on the current corrector 1 through the painting nozzle 3 while jetting the cutoff air through the air nozzle 4 by synchronizing with the timing of stopping the spray of the painting liquid 10 of the electrode material and sucking the cutoff air by the suction nozzle 5.
