Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst ink for a fuel cell that can improve power generation performance in high temperature and low humidity environments.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a catalyst ink for a fuel cell includes the steps of preparing a catalyst dispersion liquid by dispersing catalyst-supported carrier particles which are catalyst-supported carrier particles in a solvent, mixing ionomer and volatile solvent to prepare a gel, and stirring and mixing the catalyst dispersion liquid and the gel to prepare a catalyst ink, and the particle size (D50) of the catalyst ink is 0.8 μm or more and 1.2 μm or less, and the storage elastic modulus Gi of the catalyst ink is 0.5 Pa or more and less than 5 Pa under the condition that a vibration frequency of 1 Hz is applied and the strain is 1%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
