Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lower cell reaction between metals and prevent the propagation of corrosion by placing a metal having intermediate electrode potential between a mother electric conductor and its surface formation metal in the manufacture of an electric-car line for a new traffic system. CONSTITUTION:Prior to caulking and securing a surface formation metal 1 consisting of stainless steel having an approximately U-shape cross section and a mother electric conductor 3 consisting of aluminium, a metal foil 5 is seated between both of the said metals 1 and 3. Namely, the metal foil 5 is placed on the mother electric conductor 3 and then the surface formation metal 1 is placed on the metal foil 5. finally, the crest part 4 of the said conductor 3 is caulked, thereby forming a complex rigid electric-car line.
