Abstract:
To provide a curved surface liquid crystal panel in which the shearing stress applied to a seal part for pasting substrates together and sealing the liquid crystal therebetween is suppressed, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the curved surface liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: A curved surface liquid crystal panel 100 includes: a first substrate 22 curved in a first direction; a second substrate 24 curved in the first direction and opposed to the first substrate 22; a liquid crystal 26 sandwiched between the first substrate 22 and the second substrate 24; a first seal part 32 in which the first substrate 22 and the second substrate 24 are pasted together and into which the liquid crystal 26 is sealed; and a second seal part 34 which surrounds the outer periphery of the first seal part 32. The force for pasting the first substrate 22 and the second substrate 24 of the second seal part 34 is weaker than the force for pasting the first substrate 22 and the second substrate 24 of the first seal part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
