PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron-rust reduction rustproofing agent that enables a steel-made base material to be coated without removing rust on it.SOLUTION: An iron-rust reduction rustproofing agent contains a reductive phosphoric acid-based mineral acid, a tannic acid, and an alcohol having 5 or less carbon atoms. Thus, it is possible to reduce red rust and oxide films of steel into black rust, and form an antirust coating with excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: None
