Abstract:
To provide a magnetic material made from a Ni-Zn ferrite material, whereby a coil component having excellent DC superposition properties and magnetic permeability is obtained without essentially including an additive except the main components in the Ni-Zn ferrite material.SOLUTION: When producing a magnetic material made from a Ni-Zn ferrite material, iron oxide powder with a Mn content of 0.20 mass% or more is used as base powder. On the basis of the Mn content in the iron oxide powder, a molar ratio (Ni/Zn) of Ni to Zn in the ferrite material is determined, and the base powder is blended so that the molar ratio is obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None
