Abstract:
To provide a method capable of manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in low temperature input characteristics.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a coating step of coating a negative electrode collector with aqueous paste containing a negative electrode active material, a binding material and a thickner, a desiccation step of manufacturing a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material layer by desiccating the applied aqueous paste, and an assembly step of assembling a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery by using the manufactured negative electrode. The thickner contains carboxyl group. In the desiccation step, desiccation of the aqueous paste is carried out at a temperature of 160°C-210°C. At least after desiccation operation of the desiccation step to the assembly step is carried out under a circumstance of dew-point of 0°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
