Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve optimization of energy utilization in an iron mill and handle future deterioration of raw materials by effectively using COG which is a reductive gas discharged from an iron manufacturing process with a blast furnace as a reduction material.SOLUTION: In an iron mill 1 having a blast furnace 2, reduced iron is manufactured by a shaft furnace 11 or a fluid bed type reduction furnace using a coke furnace gas which is generated as a by-product in a coke furnace 4 which manufactures coke supplied to the blast furnace 2 as a reduction material, the coke amount supplied to the blast furnace 2 is calculated from a tap performance of the blast furnace 2, then the amount of coke furnace gas which is generated as a by-product when the coke amount is manufactured is calculated, then facility performance of the shaft furnace 11 or the fluid bed type reduction furnace is determined depending on reduced iron amount which can be reduced in the coke furnace gas amount in the shaft furnace 11 or the fluid bed type reduction furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
