Abstract:
To display as many objects as possible and to provide an easy to see map at the time of displaying map information.
At the time of displaying names of objects which are to be displayed on a map, a condition (the number of characters of names of objects is equal to or smaller than the prescribed number of characters ?-a step 24) is set and objects whose names do not satisfy the condition are displayed at the outside of a map area (a step 28) and objects whose names satisfy the condition are displayed in the map area (a step 26). At this time, the display priority of the objects is also considered (a step 25).
