Abstract:
To provide a marking part forming method for a cable capable of forming in a short time without varying the outer diameter of marking parts.
In the marking part forming method for the cable forming a marking part indicating a clamping position or a grommet mounting position on a sheath of the cable being routed in a vehicle, marking parts 5a, 5b, 5c are formed in the sheath 2a of the cable 2 by kneading a chemical changing color by light in the molding of the sheath or applying the chemical to the surface of the sheath after molding of the sheath, fitting a masking part 9 having a specified pattern to the outer circumferential part, and irradiating light to the sheath 2 to change color of the sheath 2.
