To solve the problem that an application, a baking after the application and a post-process removal of fine powder of a boron-based solid inorganic compound, a metal powder, a metal oxide and the like mixed with a solvent such as a heat fusion welded resin and a surfactant used as a masking agent for a carburization and a nitriding treatment, a sputter deposition inhibitor, a plating deposition inhibitor, a glaze and a masking agent for a cast pipe take labor.
A masking agent is generated by forming a liquid flux by dissolving a boron-based inorganic compound in an alcohol, acetone and the like while applying a current or a pulse current in a strong magnetic field and by mixing the liquid flux with a fine powder of a plating sludge, a metal, a metal oxide and the like together with a heat fusion welded resin, a surfactant and the like. A baking may be carried out simply by applying the masking agent uniformly on a base material followed by combusting the solvent, which also facilitates the removal after the processing. In addition, the plating sludge, which is conventionally a charged waste, may be utilized effectively as a masking agent and a glaze.
