Abstract:
To provide a mass measuring apparatus and a mass measurement method of a rubber member that can improve a freedom degree of a cross-sectional shape of a belt-shaped rubber member which is a measuring object, and that can accurately measure mass of the rubber member.SOLUTION: A mass measuring apparatus of this rubber member comprises: a conveyance apparatus 3 that continuously conveys a belt-shaped rubber member 2 along its longitudinal direction; a non-contact type profile sensors 4 and 5 that measure a cross-sectional area of the rubber member 2 at a mass measurement position P1 set in a conveyance path of the rubber member 2; a non-contact type speed sensor 6 that measures speed of the rubber member 2 at the mass measurement position P1; a non-contact type temperature sensor 7 that measures temperature of the rubber member 2 at the mass measurement position P1; and an arithmetic unit 9 that calculates mass per unit time of the rubber member 2 in a conveyance state over time on the basis of measurement data of the profile sensors 4 and 5, the speed sensor 6 and the temperature sensor 7, and that calculates an integrated value of the mass per unit time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
