Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a mass measuring instrument which can take a measurement with simple constitution even in a weightless state without having its measurement precision affected by variation in temperature, etc., nor disturbance in a circumferential environment.
SOLUTION: This mass measuring instrument is equipped with a driving part which reciprocates a body to be measured with a constant driving force, a speed detector which detects the speed of the body to be measured, a relay element which outputs a positive or negative signal according to the direction of the speed of the object measured by the speed detector and has hysteresis characteristics, and a control unit having a feedback circuit which feeds the signal outputted from the relay element aback to the driving part and prescribes cycles of the reciprocation of the object by the driving part with the signal, and then finds the mass of the object from the driving force of the driving part, the speed of the object, and the cycles of the reciprocation of the object by the driving part.
