Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a meter device excellent in operability and unfatiguing to arms, being used for the remote control of a robot arm acting in three- dimensional space.
CONSTITUTION: A master device has a first command value output means 11 moving on a plane to detect the moving quantity of two-dimensional position and outputting the detection value as the command value, and a second command value output means 12 provided away by the fixed distance from the first command value output means 11, moving on the same plane as the above- mentioned plane to detect the moving quantity of the two-dimensional position and computing the rotating quantity on the basis of the detection value and the detection value detected by the first command value output means 11 so as to output this rotating quantity as the rotation command value. The second command value output means 12 has a detecting means for detecting the moving quantity of the two-dimensional position, and a separating/contacting means for keeping this detecting means separated from the plane and bringing this detecting means into contact with the plane only by the operation of an operator.
