PURPOSE: To smoothly feed-reverse a material once passed through a pendulum type shearing machine for the material travelling, by providing a mechanism capable of feed-reversing the material which is once passed through the shearing machine upon abnormal operation being happened.
CONSTITUTION: An upper tool rest 5 attached with an upper cutting tool 6 is provided to one of the eccentric parts of a crankshaft, slidably with respect to a frame 2. A material 17 to be sheared is cut on travelling between the upper cutting tool 6 and a lower cutting tool 7 by rotation of the crankshaft. Then, if it is necessary to feed-reverse the material 17 which has past through the shearing machine, since a trouble is happened on the next process step, a dancer roller 9 is lowered to its lower position A for absorbing the deflexion of the material which is feed-reversed. Thereby, the feed-reversing becomes possible even if the front end of the feed-reversed material is bent. Further, if the material is feed-reversed to an inlet side guide 10, the latter is tilted. Thus, the material which is once passed through the shearing machine, may be smoothly feed-reversed.
