Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stably produce the lanthanum chromite small in permeation constant of gaseous nitrogen without deposition of lanthanum oxide.

CONSTITUTION: The granulated particles of lanthanum chromite in which chromium oxide particles are dispersed is used as the thermally spraying material. A thermally sprayed film is formed by thermally spraying the granulated particles on a substrate, and the thermally sprayed film is heat treated, and a airtight lanthanum chromite film is obtained. The specific surface area of the granulated particle is preferably ≤0.9m2/g. More than 80vol.% of the granulated particles has 20-110μm grain size preferably. And, the granulated particles are thermally sprayed on the electrode of the solid electrolyte type fuel cell and the thermally sprayed film is heat treated, and an interconnector is formed.
