PURPOSE: To provide a mattress giving a feeling of flatness, which has springs therein and has vibrators put in a container held by the springs to reduce projections formed by the vibrators.

CONSTITUTION: This mattress is formed into a flat plate by arranging many springs therein and then connecting the springs lengthwise and crosswise with connective rings. In the mattress, vibrators 12 and laid under some parts of the mattress where the fatigable part of a human body, such as shoulders, a waist or calves of a person of average height will be laid. Each vibrator 12 adheres to the bottom of a chamber 13a in a thick sheet 13 as a container with an adhesive tape 14. A metal plate 17 is screwed on the surface of the vibrator 12 through a fabric sheet 16. Both ends of a band 18 made of a polypropylene intervening between the metal plate 17 and the fabric sheet 16 are held by springs 11.
