Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to keep constant temperature readily by keeping the temperature of a stranded wire constant in a constant temperature oven, and performing measurement.
CONSTITUTION: A piece of stranded wire 1 which is set between constant tension devices 3 is set in an electric furnace 8 as a constant temperature oven. The temperature in the furnace 8 is controlled by ON and OFF of a heater 9 which is provided in the furnace 8. The heat which is generated in the heater 9 is circulated with a blower 10. The inside of the furnace 8 is kept at the constant temperature. The measurement of the creeping elongation at normal temperature is performed by reading a dial gage provided in the furnace 8 through a measuring window 11.
