Abstract:
To provide a measuring instrument reader and an automatic control system that can effectively and precisely acquire a plurality of measured values by using a plurality of measuring instruments.SOLUTION: A measuring instrument reader acquires a measured value on a measuring instrument of which measured value is shown by a movable part movable along a scale. The reader includes: an imaging unit for imaging a plurality of measuring instruments in an imaging-possible range; and a data acquiring unit for acquiring a measured value from the image taken by the imaging unit. The imaging unit images the plurality of measuring instruments divided in a plurality of groups, on a group-by-group basis, by focusing on the measuring instruments of each group. The data acquisition unit acquires a measured value from each of the images taken by the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
