PURPOSE: To make it possible to judge the propriety of the amount of deviation produced as a result of expansion or contraction of a green sheet by measuring the position of a VIA hole at the four corners and a VIA hole in the center before printing and further measuring the positions of corresponding lands, under a condition where the green sheet is mounted on a printer after printing.

CONSTITUTION: In addition to the position of a via hole 2 at the four corners before the pattern printing of a green sheet GS placed on a printer 3, positions of a specified number of via holes 6 in the center are measured. Then, the positions of lands 5 and 7 corresponding to respective via holes 2 and 6 are measured still under the condition where the green sheet is placed on the printer 3 after the pattern printing. The error between the position of each via hole 2 and 6 and the position of each land 57 is defined as the amount of deviation. This construction makes it possible to judge the propriety of the amount of deviation early by measuring the amount of positional deviation between the via holes and the lands produced by the expansion of the green sheet all over the green sheet immediately printing.
