To provide a mechanical joint structure capable of sufficiently ensuring mechanical strength in a joint section and, at the same time, simply and firmly connecting irrespective of a joint position.
The mechanical joint structure includes reinforcing bars 2 forming male screws 1 on at least one end side, a pair of reinforcing bar joint members 5 and 5 formed by halving a cylindrical screw having female screws 3 formed by the same pitch as that of the male screw 1 inside thereof and having joint male screws 4 on the outside and a reinforcing bar joint nut 7 having joint female screws 6 screwed in the joint male screws 4. A pair reinforcing bars 2 and 2 are opposingly arranged on the same straight line so as to get the male screws 1 and 1 butted against each other, a pair of reinforcing bar joint members 5 and 5 are united and put on over the male screw 1 and 1, and the reinforcing bar joint nut 7 passing through one reinforcing bar 2 is screwed in the united reinforcing joint members 5 and 5 to connect and fix a pair of reinforcing bars 2.
