Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a creep preventing mechanism by providing a creep preventing switch and an acceleration switch in a push button system shift switch mechanism to operate a solenoid valve through signals of these switches for providing the neutral range. CONSTITUTION:Since creep phenomenon is offsetted when the shift position is in the retreat of R range, the creep preventing action is not effected. When the shift position is in the advance range, a creep preventing switch is turned on and an acceleration switch is turned off, i.e. when a car is started even immediately after stoppage, the specified advance range is held. However, when vehicle speed is maintained at zero condition for n seconds determined by a timer, the neutral range N is reached to prevent the creep. Such function is incorporated in a computer of a push button system shift switch mechanism so that the creep phenomenon can be securely prevented.
