A medical institution terminal 30 transmits data on a patient's (insurant's) medical bills, payment methods and the like to a management center 10. The management center 10 generates medical information claiming insurance reimbursement according to the received data, and transmits it to an insurance company terminal 50. The insurance company examines with reference to contract contents of the insurant, and if granting reimbursement for medical bills, transmits reimbursement information including insurance benefits to the management center 10. The management center 10 cancels the medical bills by the insurance benefits to calculate an amount to be paid to the medical institution, and requests a financial institution terminal 40 to transfer the amount to an account of the medical institution. The transfer result is transmitted to the management center 10, which after recovery registration processing transmits a receipt file to the medical institution terminal 30.
