PURPOSE: To provide a medical processing appliance which can elastically converge a cell extraction part or a processing part for perforation through a blocked part in blood vessel to a diameter near to the outer diameter of the shank thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A cell extraction part or a processing part 1 for perforation single wires 2 or stranded wires having a repulsive force so as to be formed in a hollow spherical shape. The processing part 1 is formed at the front end of a shank 5. The processing part 1 can elastically converged diametrically to a diameter near to the outer diameter of the shank 5. Accordingly, the diameter of an introducing tool such as a catheter for introducing the cell extraction part or the processing part for perforation through a blocked part in a blood vessel into a desired part can be reduced. Further, no manipulation for enlarging the processing part in the desired part for extraction of cells or perforation through a blocked part in a blood vessel is required. Since, the processing part 1 is formed of several single wires or stranded wires, the manipulatability thereof is satisfactory so as to safely carry out extraction of cells or perforation through a blocked part in a blood vessel.
