PURPOSE: To identify the species of an animal easily, automatically calculate the dosage of appropriate medicine, and dose the same by automatically feeding a control means with a high-frequency signal, which corresponds to the ID code read by a read means, and a measuring signal corresponding to the weight of the animal given from a measuring means, and by performing calculation of the dosage.
CONSTITUTION: When a scanner 2 is approached to an animal 9 in which a transponder is embedded, a high-frequency signal is received by the scanner and transmitted to a transducer 3. The ID No., date and identifying time are displayed on a a display 31. The weight of the identified animal 9 is measured by an electronic balance 4, and a processor 5 calculates the dosage of appropriate medicine, the result wherefrom is sent to Metarol(R) pump 7 and temporarily stored in a RAM together with the date and identifying time. The data are fed to a printer 6, and the liquid transfusing part 77 of the Metarol(R) pump 7 is actuated to attract the medicine from a tank 74 into a dripping tube 75 and further into a dripping cylinder 76. The medicine is injected to the animal 9 from the tip of a liquid transfusing tube 71.
