PURPOSE: To enable not only to save the cost of fuel for melting burnt ash but also to dispose waste plastics by a method wherein the waste plastics are mixed with burnt ash and they are melted.
CONSTITUTION: A component a obtained by removing separable plastics from refuse A is supplied to a stoker furnace 1 and burnt there, and on the other hand the waste plastics b separated and removed in subjected to primary crushing by a crusher 2 and supplied to a hopper 3. Then, the iron content in the crushed material is removed by magnetism and collected in a hopper 4, supplied into a crusher 5 and crushed secondarily and then collected in a supply hopper 6 provided with a fixed quantity delivering device. Then, the burnt residue from the stoker furnace 1 mixed with the crushed material of the waste plastics b cut down and delivered from the hopper 6 is supplied into a melting furnace 7 and melted.
