To provide a member for an artificial vertebral arch and a member for an artificial corpus vertebrae capable of promoting the regeneration of vertebra constituting the vertebral column by using a material which is excellent in biocompatibility and has sufficient strengths.
The member for the artificial vertebral arch consists of a ceramic porous material made of a hydroxyapatite which is formed by agitation-foaming, whose porosity is ≥50% and ≤90%, whose average pore diameter is ≥100 μm and ≤600 μm and whose pores are communicated with each other through continuous holes three-dimensionally, and the member for the artificial vertebral arch is formed into a curved shape similar to the vertebral arch. The member for artificial corpus vertebrae has a side peripheral part consisting of a ceramic compact body having a porosity of ≤5%, and has an inner side consisting of the ceramic porous material.
