Abstract:
To provide a member for bush installing in which a bush installing part to install a bush at a part of a member main body consists of a rod form metal extruded material, and the shock in a collision can be relaxed.
This member main body 2 consists of a pipe member made of a rod form aluminum extruded material with a circular section. At the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the member main body 2, a thin wall part 6 is formed locally by a cutting process, along the whole periphery of the pripheral wall of the pipe member. By forming the thin wall part 6 in such a way, the member main body 2 is made easy to buckle. The shock in a collision time can be relaxed by buckling the member main body 2 at the thin wall part 6.
