Abstract:
To provide a member receptacle and a transportation mechanism capable of smoothly attaching and detaching a cylindrical or columnar member without jumping up the cylindrical or columnar member when shaken or impacted.SOLUTION: Provided is a member receptacle which holds a cylindrical or columnar member. A receptacle body has a recess into which a cylindrical or columnar member is inserted, and a bottom part of the recess is a substantially semicircular receptacle that supports a lower surface of the cylindrical or columnar member. On the entrance side of the recess, a pair of support parts that press and support the member by inserting the member against the elastic force is provided so as to face each other. As the support part, for example, a pair of arc-shaped support pieces facing each other are formed integrally with the receptacle body so as to be convex inward. Alternatively, shutter plates provided in the receptacle body so as to be freely inserted or removed, are arranged so as to face each other, as the support part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
