To provide a member for a suspension arm capable of changing the direction or a bush mounting portion to a member body and increasing the degree of freedom with respect to the whole shape and the length of the member body.
A member for a suspension arm A comprises a member body made of a pipe and a bush mounting portion 10 for mounting a bush, at least one end of the member body being provided with the bush mounting portion 10. The bush mounting portion 10 is provided with a joining projection 20 on the outer peripheral surface thereof and more than one recess 16 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the joining projection 20. The joining projection 20 is fitted in one opening of the member body and the wall of the member body is plastically deformed in the recesses such that it fits in the recesses, whereby the member body is integrally joined to the bush mounting portion 10.
