A method for manufacturing a member to be coated with cast is characterized in that the member to be coated with cast has irregularities on the surface to come in contact with the cast-in member. The irregularities are formed on the surface of the member to be coated with cast by plastic forming and at the time of forming irregularities, a material conformable with the cast-in member is supplied between the member to be coated with cast and a tool which forms irregularities so that a thin film layer made of the material conformable with the cast-in member is formed on the surface of the irregularities.
