Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for dehydrating and condensating an intermediately or highly hydrous organic solvent such as particularly hydrous alcohol by pervaporation method.
CONSTITUTION: The organic solvent such as the water-soluble alcohol is dehydrated and condensed using a high-efficiency separation membrane composed of poly(methyl methacrylate-N,N-dimethyl aminoethyl methacrylate) copolymer obtained by copolymerizing methyl methacrylate and N,N-dimethyl aminoethyl methacrylate by using pervaporation method.
